The Alsto commitment to product improvement makes the PV5 even easier to use. The PV5 Mk IV’s cabinet design makes maintenance and service very simple. Quick to operate and open, all working components are accessible in seconds, reducing down-time during scheduled maintenance. Hinged front doors allow it to be opened and inspected very safely and easily to maximize efficiency when cleaning and servicing. 

Supplied with disc, lid and the 5000cc bowl fitted for “plug and play” operation.

• Alsto’s PV5 can reduce a wide range of mineral ores and aggregate samples to a particle size of 90% passing 75 microns in a standard cycle depending on material type.
• Cycle times will vary according to sample mass and type.
• New analogue controls makes it simple to operate with four (changeable) run times provided.

Maximize operator safety:

• The PV5 swing arm has a pneumatic clamping system and handle to secure the lid in place.
• The further improved Bowl Jack is included — using a vertical cylinder to assist operators lift the pulverizing disc from the bowl.
• The automatic door locking system is double sided to guarantee that no moving elements of the machine can be accessed during the grinding cycle.
• Powerful 4.0kW motor requires a three-phase power supply. A multiple of voltage options are available.
• Spare parts and wear parts are unchanged, allowing consistent operation, optimizing planning for scheduled maintenance.
